About the Adolescent Medicine Trials Network for HIV Interventions (ATN)
The ATN is a federally-funded research network established in 2001, currently in its fifth funding cycle. Since its inception, the ATN has enrolled over 30,000 youth participants into 33 completed research studies.

What organizations are part of the ATN?
The ATN is comprised of over 40 universities, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
How are youth involved?
The ATN centers youth voices in our research in two distinct ways:
The ATN’s youth Subject Matter Research Consultants are part-time employees at Florida State University who are part of study teams and Scientific Leadership Groups, providing guidance throughout the research process, including study development, implementation, analysis, and sharing the results of our research back to the community.
Youth from each of the ATN’s recruitment sites represent their local community as members of the ATN’s National Community Advisory Board, informing ATN research and strategy.
