Who funds the ATN?
The Adolescent Medicine Trials Network for HIV Interventions (ATN) is funded by several institutes within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The grant numbers are UM2HD111102 and UM2HD111076.
NIH, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is the nation’s medical research agency—making important discoveries that improve health and save lives. NIH is comprised of 27 different Institutes and Centers, each with its own specific research agenda, often focusing on particular diseases or body systems. NICHD, NIDA, and NIMH are the three institutes within NIH that fund the ATN’s research.
